may be im being a little extremebasically i fear it could be semen?? could this possibly be the case? if ti si can it be infectious or harmful, and do u recommend washing clothes if i t only slightly touches my trousers.

semen dries clear-so even on dark fabrics-there is no way to detect it other than with an ultra-violet light.
your work has the responsibility to fix potential health hazards-if you feel this chair is unsanitary-mention it to your boss and have them fix the problem.
in the meantime-you can spray the chair with lysol-it will kill any possible germs there could be on the chair.
and in reality-you're exposed to more germs in the air each day than that chair will ever hold-so the chances of you getting sick from sitting on it are very slim.

Uh NO.
Plain and simple, if it is that, it is long dried up and through your trousers, or whatever, even if it touched your skin, no.
No worries.
Just get a paper towel and some cleaner and wipe it off if you are worried about it.
If it was FRESH, maybe you should worry, for many reasons, not just for infectious ones, but like who is doing that in your office while you are out?
clean it up, get on with your life man...

It could be, try spraying it with disinfectant.
Then tell yourself the night cleaning crew ate a powdered donut in your chair instead of what your worst fear is.
I recomend washing your clothes from time to time anyway.

Semen wouldn't stay white for a couple of days!!!! so I would say you are pretty safe there, its probably mildew does it smell musty? if so its probably caused by damp. Even if it is is semen wipe it off with a hot cloth, don't be so squeamish

Probably either tippex, cocaine or salt dried out of someone's sweat.
Either way, you need to dry clean that seat, pronto, and likely get a seat cover.
