Yes, I understand I can search for these things. I was hoping for personal testimonies. Anyone can google..that's how I get a lot of my answers for the questions that I answer on here...I'd like more of personal answers please. Not just "it worked, or it didn't work, or look it up". Why did it or didn't it work? What made it that way? What did it make you feel like? Etc.
Thank you!

Hi, have been on Lexapro for 2 years now and it has helped. It is not a magic bean that will remove all the underlying stress/trauma/sadness but rather a coping tool that will help ease the pysiological symptoms of the illness.. I can tell you the best way to go about getting yourself better is to take the medication as prescribed but also go to councelling to deal with the underlying issues...and remember exercise really really helps... best of luck

Lexapro worked well for me, even after Paxil CR gave me bad side effects. I did switch to Wellbutrin due to the fact that Wellbutrin is safer for a fetus (in case I get pregnant). If you have more questions about Lexapro, you can search on Yahoo Health, it's very useful!
