You are probably fit and getting enough exercise but a bad diet will affect to adversely sooner or later. It will hit you like a sledgehammer when you stop doing all that walking!
Try to improve your diet gradually and you will feel much better for it.

That is more exercise than I ever get. The walking is a very good form of exercise. It allows your blood to flow and carry oxygen to your cells and to your brain. If you don't eat right just try to eat a little healthier. Take a turkey sandwich instead of a bologna sandwich. Skip the chips for an apple. Stuff like that. I would say if you are walking 3 hrs a day you must be pretty fit.

Dustbin men walk an average of fifteen miles a day the ones I know seem pretty fit, I have never seen a fat one, well built but not fat. Walking 3 and a half hours won't do you any harm and it is very good exercise.

The walking is definitely very good for you, for your heart, etc. But it doesn't mean you're fit. Your arms don't get much exercise, or your abdominals. Also, since you carry the weight of the letters, probably your back needs some stretching or toning exercise. You could go to a gym like once a week, and try to have a healthy diet.

Not so sure myself. I also work in a job where i walk most of my shift. I'm not fat either but but do have a poor diet like you and recently started playing five a side football and nearly keeled over in the first twenty minutes. If you want to know how fit you are, and possibly receive a big wake up call, find a team to play for and see what happens. Believe me it's well worth it.

Wow...3 and a half hours every day,
You sure are getting enough leg exercise, but you might want to work on your arms and torso to balance out your core strength.
You don't need to worry about being fat. but still, a balanced diet is important even though you are getting a workout out of your job daily.

Get yourself a pedometer so you can see how far you walk. Remember that you are also carrying a heavy bag!!!
But if you are eating lots of cholestorol / fatty stuff / smoking, then it will catch up with you in the end! Have a think to see if there are any lifestyle changes you could make! You are the one who will benefit.

I would reccoment some stretching excercises including some that target the back as carrying a heavy bag will make your posture uneven leading to back pain. I hope that you have very good shoes

Walking that much is good exercise.
You should check your cholestrol and arteries.
I have known some very thin mailmen, who died because of other health problems.
Join a gym and balance the workout.
Good Luck
