i am trying to get the changes made in registry after a software is being installed in my system

There are many free programs like this, here's one. It has a download link at the top... Also check http://www.download.com if this one isn't quite what you're looking for.

I think you'd have to export the registries to regular text files for this to be effective.

As suggested by another user also, I have been using BeyondCompare for this for a while and it is simply very good. My experience has been very good with this.

"examdiff" is the one I use. Certainly encourage others to use it too.
