1) Ask around - friends, churchs, senior citizen organizations (may have had children or grand children and still have the books around)

2) Any local thrift shop or store reselling books

3) Garage or estate sales

4) Larger metropolitan areas usually have a used book warehouse that sells old books (these are usually very good)

5) Old book clubs - search the web for ideas here
http://www.best-book-clubs.com/?source=Google

6) There are specific websites that sell old books (watch the prices on these - some are very reasonable):
http://www.alibris.com/
www.abebooks.com
http://www.powells.com/
http://www.bookfinder.com/

These are a few ideas, but is you get creative in web searching, I am sure that you can find others.

Good Luck

Also, Jerry's Artarama sells clay and products concerning it--------air dry and oven dry

Also, love Mr. Art------great quill type pens for handwriting -------beautiful handwriting. I look for the old primary school handwriting books and let the kids see how expressive they can write (an real art form) while just writing for fun or reports.

Try yard sales, Goodwill, thrift shops, join Freecycle and ask there.
