I wax once every two months, and then shave in between. The first lot of hair, after the wax, takes the longest to regrow (about 2 weeks) after that I can shave it, and it grows long enough to be waxed in 7 days.
Waxing is good, cause it it thins hair out over time. (you get these bald patches around you're bikini line) But my beautician is evil, and it hurts like hell, so I don't do it often.

waxing is better because when you shave you get really icty and sore when it grows back but if you use babyliss waxing systen it doesnt come back for at least four weeks so you can keep on top of it

definately wax it
it will hurt more but you wont itch for atleast 2 weeks compared to the next day and eventually if you keep waxing your hair will become finer and grow back less

For me, using the hair remover with Aloe and Cocoa Butter feels so smooth and conditioned afterwards. I use Neet and Nair products.
