I practice golf recently. I went to a course yesterday. There were nine halls, and the score was 59. Are you used to 40 if you practice how many years more?

You reduce your score by practising as often as possible the correct techiques. It could be months or years depend on how often you practise. To get the correct technique, you need to take lessons. Learning it yourself can cause you to settled into bad techniques & habits which become harder to correct later.

Some people never achieve a score of 40 for 9 holes. It depends on your physical and mental capabilities.

Practice doesn't always make perfect, sometimes it just make mistakes permanent. The best idea is to get lessons, then practice what the instructor has taught you.
