Used book stores or try Freecycle for your area. We have a used bookstore in Phoenix called Bookmans that has a full set right now for $60. Freecycle is a Yahoo Group in each region where people give things away they no longer use.

I would suggest purchasing lightly used Childcraft books from sources like ebay, half.com, abebooks.com Amazon used books, and other used book stores specifically.
