Put up a card saying what you want done on any of the university notice boards. You can go to the students union and ask them to put it up for you, or to the French Departments and ask the secretary/administrator to put it up. Try University College Gower Street, Kings College on the Strand, SOAS on Russell Square, and also go to the French Institute in South Kensington, they have a school opposite the tube station. Also go to the French Bookshop in South Kensington 1 minute from the French School, they have a notice board.

It depends on the type of document you want to get translated. If they are important doc. you'll need to ask a teacher or go to translation company. They'll charge you, but you'll know it's accurate.

If they are for personal use and you just need a broad idea of what is being said, you can ask students.

It really depends what the documents are.
