I don't think so. I am also allergic to nickle, and the only problem I really have is wearing silver jewellery. It gives me a really bad rash on my skin, a whole bunch of tiny itchy bumps grow on the area I wore the necklace, earrings or bracelet. But I'm stubborn and I LOVE silver jewellery, so sometimes i wear it anyway. I hear if you don't want your rash to be too bad, you should paint clear nail polish on the back of your jewellery but I haven't tried i yet so I don't know if it works.

You will want to keep an eye out for foods contaminated with heavy ammounts of metals, such as a lot of imported seafood. I've never had to deal with this myself, so I'm very sure I'm missing something.

No, that's a metal, so you shouldn't have to worry about foods.

Your bigger concern should be jewelry, and especially things like earrings. When in doubt, go with stainless steel, titanium, or sterling silver.
