Obviously I am not talking like going over there today, but if something happened, how much support would you truly have for your troops?

I support the troops in any military action taken by this country, regardless who sent them. This country has a problem with supporting our troops due to political ramifications. We cannot ever not support the people that protect us . Anyone who cannot support our troops should be ashamed to be an American.

I will always support our troops where ever they go. I might want to kick the butt of the guy that sent them tho'

Supporting the troops and supporting the action they are asked to do are two very different things.
Right now the Republican party wants to link not supporting the war in Iraq with not supporting our troops, for no other reason than it suits their needs at this time. That sure wasn't the case when Eisenhower was elected tho' (think about it, there is a message there)

As an ex-G.I., I have always supported the troops and I always will.

Hopefully, there will never be any conflict with North Korea, but, if it did happen...our troops should and will receice any and all necessary support.

I would like to see military action as a last resort in conjunction with troops in the area (i.e. Japan, China, South Korea, etc.)

not at all! I'm presuming you are American. what give you people, a major nuclear power, the right to decide a what a country on the other side of the world can and can't do. if you want to advocate nukes then lead by example dammit. you can't expect a country to just give up what is lets face it going to be its only defence when Damian w bush junior decides he screwed up Iraq enough and wants a new under privileged country to bully, and they'll probably buy the things off you guys anyway. as a Brit i got to involved in the last flaming war you guys started for no good reason whilst living in London on 7/7 so how about this, follow the troops if you must but lets work together at world peace instead. as one bill hicks said if we stop spending money on developing these tools of devastation and as a planet all put that money together not a single person would be hungry or cold at night and we could explore space as a unified race of humans, not kill each other and this planet in doing so!
STOP THE WAR BEFORE IT HAPPENS!!!!!

I would totally support our troops in a military action against N. Korea. In fact I am afraid it will happen soon. I say this with sadness because my youngest son will graduate in 2008 and plans to immediately enlist in the Marine Corps. While I am very very proud of my son and will support his decision, any mother knows the current situation keeps me awake at night now. I only wish more of our citizens could or would understand that sometimes a show of force is as necessary to eventual peace as is diplomacy. You cannot wage peace with a despotic leader with doves and olive branches. I do not want my son to die. I do not want my son to kill. I do not want my son to see first hand the horror that is war. However, but for the courage and honor of our children we would find more than one wolf at our door and our walls made of hay. Please join me to pray everyday unceasingly for an end to the hostilities in the Middle East and N. Korea. I do not want war. I do not want death. My heart breaks for mothers, fathers, wives, children, gf, and bf. Support our troops give them what they need (that includes our prayers and blessings) to put an end to a terrible situation.

I support our troops anywhere and at any time. I cannot say as much for the administration, I just this minute heard the Presidents' polls continue to be dismal. God Bless you and the Southern People.

I'm not a mind reader but did you really mean:

Would you support our administration in send troops into a military action agianst North Korea??

That answer would be "NO" but "YES" to your question of supporting the troops. I'm one of them.

I will always support our troops....as with most other jobs, you do what your told or you get fired..It's not their choice where they go, but its their job. If we didnt have a military who would protect us? Everyone should support our troops!

to the answer by the pom no not at all, you would have been bombed anyway, i don't agree with every American policy, but if not for America, Germany and japan would have goose stepped there way around the world, you would not even have the right to debate, short memory. since ww2 America have proven they wont use nukes, cant say that for some of the others who want nukes. and its not just Americans want nukes stoped its a lot of countries
