Is it possible to have a clean break when you both still think about each other? When you both knew that neither is good for the other? What can you do to totally forget someone you loved? I know time, but how to pass those times?

We broke up coz we kept fighting even tho we'll miss each other like mad, after that.
This is the longest break ever. He broke and called but I ignored him and even feigned my own death.

Yes, people break up when they finally listen to their minds and good friends and are fed up with the bullshit from their own heart. Even if feelings linger, people can make right decisions.
You spend time writing abt the breakup, talking abt it, go on seeking advice, assurance, encourgement and support from Yahoo friends, shopping (while thinking abt it) but ONE FINE DAY, that time will end. Take care!

I am still good friends with all my Ex's...
The time to break up is after you both know it's inevitable, but before you hate each others guts.
It is weird at first, but as a mature person, you get over it, handle it and remain friends if possible.

I can say out of personal experience that there is no alternative to facing up to the situatuation, and telling your friend the truth about how you feel.
Your care and concern after the break up will confirm to them.

There's a thousand hurts a day just thinking of someone you love. You can't just drop them, forget them, and in reality if you truly were "in love" with this person, you will never forget them, never get them out of your life, never, never, never. You can't throw it away no matter how you try, what you do. It's imbedded in your being for the end of time...........

you feigned your own death just so you don't have to get back with him? have you considered talking to a shrink? i think that is a reason why you broke up. and it might be deeper than you think it really is. GET HELP
