Well firstly there are mainly 3 different styles of leadership and it depends on which type of a leader u are. You could be Autocratic(more result-oriented and you tend to have the final say in all decisions regardless of the team), Democratic(the people/majority decides) or Laissez-faire(a fair balance of both where the leader opens the problem for discussion, solution is reached but the leader does make the final decision with all that in consideration).

Now we all know as a leader other than the task at hand, the usual and most of the time the bulk of the problem, comes from dealing with the members/people relationship issue. Personally how i deal with it can be viewed in in terms of economics. At best possible, you try and make it a win-win situation. Always view the problem objectively and diplomatically, rid yourself of all highly emotional tendencies that could cloud your rationality. Then...at most times more often than not, there has to be an opportunity cost. That's where your leadership comes in and decide what is more important at that point in time and what will be important to you in the times to come. As we also know, leaders are the one accountable for the project. SO if it's your *** on the line, what will be your final answer?

This is typical behaviour if the team has decided to get rid of you, especially if you know that they do it on purpose.

Just think again.
If you feel that your opinion is correct, try to explain him/her.
If you feel that his/her opinion is correct, accept.

Being flexible is a great way of showing leadership.

Good luck !!!
