It is very individual, and it also depends on your state of mind when you visit. Are you going to enjoy what the country has to offer, or are you going to be frustrated about language barriers and comparisons between where you live now and the place you are visiting?
Russia is a really interesting place, as is Ireland. Latvia is also a really nice country. I grew up in Sweden, and still think it is a really nice place. I like Australia, but for completely different reasons.
Note also... visiting a country is never the same as living in a country. If you are visiting a new country, and know someone who can show you around - that is generally the best approach.
:-)

Have you ever seen the Lord of the Rings. It is like that for real there has been no editing.
It is an absolutely beautiful place with lots to do, friendly people - The Adventure capital of the world.

I went to Sunny Beach in Bulgaria a few months ago and it really was the best place i've ever been to abroad. Had heard a few reports about it and wasn't sure, but everything was so clean, beaches were spotless, people were nice, weather was fantastic, hotels were amazing and everything was so cheap (30p a pint!). Really was a great holiday. I've been to all the usual holiday resorts, but Bulgaria was the best. If you're gonna go there though, go soon before they join the European Union as prices will go up greatly.

New Zealand, but if this beyond your budget, go to that wee country
up north called Scotland and save your money. Apart from the cities
I suggest the Travel Inn on the river bank of Dundee. Have a good
trip and save some money.

Depends what you are after, so different, I have loved France, Spain, Nepal, Mexico, and would like to go to Croatia, Turkey, north africa, portugal and heaps of other places. Only place I would not go back to is Italy. I was working there for 6 weeks, every time I went out on my own and got followed, old men trying to kiss me etc, it was horrible, and draining to cope with it every time I left the house.

France: Close and cheap to get to. The best food in the world, (possibly alongside Italy), Skiing, Hot beaches, just about everything. (And the people do like us - especially the older ones near the Normandy beaches!)

Well, the only one country I know, that there is everything in one.
Ancient culture, high technologies, very good service, not so expencive prices, civil life and old eastern markets, oldest places on Earth, Biblian mountain Ararat etc, etc...
ARMENIA
