Where do you live? A place where it rains or snows a lot?
If it is sunny and never rains, get a convertible, but expect to pay a lot of $$$ for your car insurance.
If it snows and rains a lot, get an suv, but expect to pay a lot of $$$ for gas, and maybe more on insurance depending on that vehicles safety rating.
As for one of the other poster's comments: Depending on where you live, and SUV IS a car. "V" doesn't stand for "VAN"...it stands for sport utility "VEHICLE"....Some states (KS...) count suvs as cars, but others count them as trucks. No big deal though.

A SUV isnt a car , its a Sport Utility Van. Convertibles are nice i have two.
