after all i make my own choices, i am my own mind, a persons mind is something left untaped, something which we all know little about...therefore we make our own decisions of what becomes of oureslfs, in life and death. if one belives in heven and hell then they will end up there, but if one would believe in their own self then can they not have the final say in their own afterlife?

If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!
Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!
Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?
My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:
Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...
Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...
Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

You already are, on some level. Check your Bible, Psalm 82:6 and John 10:34-36. I think you are a god at your level and God is the God of His level as well as (in the person of Jesus Christ) your level. Thus at his level (all things inferior to his created self) man is meant to be his own god. But he has to accept God at His level and Jesus Christ as Man-God (the Mediator between Man and God), in order to become a good god at his own level. Otherwise he is an inferior god at his own level and as such is lost for eternity.

I shall have no other Gods before me.

what if its true?
Only you have the choose to believe it or push it away.

Yes, it's wrong. Although you make you're own choices, you did not create yourself, humanity, the Earth, the planets, stars, galaxies or anything else. you could not even create the wing of a fly or a speck of dust. all you can do is make choices... that does not make you a God. Also, you can not have the final say in your after life as you do not own yourself. The one who created you, owns you.

I thank God to have hidden certain things from human being. If man could by his own initiative make man, then no one was to talk of God again.

although you are graced with the ability to have freedom of choice as a sentiant being, and as to the fact or supposition that you indeed may be a god to the infinate amount of living sentiant beings that compose and operate your mostly bag of water with a few carbon based chemicals thrown in, to say you are a god to your piers is an insult. after all as you may be a god to those who live inside you , then you must accept that you are also one of an infinate amount of sentiant beings living inside an even larger being. now isn't that food for thought ? marinians rule forever, you puny terrans, lol.

Yes dear its terribly wrong to think yourself as God...U didn't create yourself..God Almighty created you and all living and non-living things in the world...and in all the universe...
God will never die....But u will
There is only one God...but un-countable ppl like me and yourself.
When u fall sick or are hurt...or in pain..what comes out of ur mouth automatically..Yes..its ......Oh God.....
God is the devine power ..u or any other living thing are just nothing.

and its not what I believe, but what your talking about does have its place.
