I mean when once I hapened to go to Iran, I asked for Quran at some local shop...
They gave me a book which I could not understand a bit..
but "Al- Quran" was written on its cover...
When I inquired "what type of this Quran is?"
He first asked me where r u from?
I told " I am from Pakistan"
He at once snatched the book from my hands & gave me another same color/cover book named "Al-Quran".
when I opened the new book. I found that I could read that book..
I could understand what was written in it..
I mean I could read the Arabic..
But I wonder what language was written in the other book..
It was not Arabic at all
But the Cover said it was Quran...
& I know that Quran is only in one language ....
In Arabic...
& others are its translations in what ever languages....
SO Can Any one tell me Which type of Quran is used in Iran????
or by Shiette Muslims????
I am Sunni muslim & I read Arabic Quran...
What Quran do they use??
Why was that Quran not in Arabic??

You guys are taking my question wrong...
I know that Quran cant be changed..Allah has himself taken the responsibility for it... but who knows ...
I also heard that in Kwait the is new book introduced as "Al-quran-ul Hakeem' for acedamic studies.. instead of Quran.
But the main point is Why did the Sales Man JUST SNATCHED that BOOK FROM MY HANDS?????

you're information is totally wrong I'm a Sunni and there are a lot of Shias in my town and we have the same Qur'an. Why are you trying to misguide others. I'm an eyewitness so no need for a scholar OK.

If you read Arabic then you must remember the verse in Quran:"inna anzalna aldhiker wa inaa lehu le hafidhoon" no one can change a word in the Holy Book. I don't know what you saw in Iran and also do not want to accuse them of anything, but rest assured it is the same book that is 1427 years old. Did you ask the seller why did he give you a different one? Perhaps they have it in Persian that does not mean it is been tampered with. Shi'ats and Sunni may differ in some matter, BUY NOT when it come to the Quran, that is sacred.
If this is about why did he snatch it? why didn't you ask him? come on man, how can we help you here. This is an act of one person, he might be fanatic...

I'm not sure why you are so surprised!..Quran could be translated into any language if ppl don't speak Arabic.
Maybe the quran u saw in Iran was in their language..but not a different one ..i mean another translation for quran but not another surahs or verses or words....not one for Sunni and one for shiettet...we have one quran but many translations..that's all.
if you were so confused ..why didn't you ask the man who sold you the Quarn to explain to you the difference in the language?!

thats is the most silliest of all things i ever heard. there is only one Qu'ran since past 1427 years ago. there are 30 chapters, 114 sub-chapters and 6236 verses from 1427 yrs since. there is no different Qu'ran -- not one verse rejected or deleted or added. and a Muslim reading the Qu'ran in NY will hear the same recital from a Muslim reciting it at Tokyo. only the translations are different.
sunni or shia fight for leadership of Caliphs or Khalifas. now that is too silly, aint it?. Muslims are muslims irrespective of denominations just like Christians and Hindus and Jews. there is One Destination though the paths are different.

It's the same Qur'an. Some script is easier for non-Arabs to read. Those from Pakistan can read the larger script with the extra accent marks better. The thinner Arabic script is usually harder for non-Arabs as it caters to those who's mother tongue is Arabic.

You're asking the wrong question. I worked in Iraq and Kuwait. I saw the aftermath of one Muslim sect killing another and them killing in return.
The question is why do Muslims kill each other..if they truly believe that Islam is the Religion of Peace?
And before anyone goes ballistic...the same question can be asked of just about every religion.

I have never heard of such thing but most likely the reason why you wouldn't read it was because it was in Farsi (Persian) which looks very similar to Arabic.

Feels about the same as the paper from any given bible, rather coarse, I prefer charmin...
That being said, it was most likely a Farsi translation... Stands to reason.

I think you try to misguide others, if you are muslim you would know that it is imposible to change even one letter in the Holy Quran, it is mentioned in this aya:
"Ø¥Ùا ÙØÙ ÙزÙÙا اÙØ°Ùر ÙØ¥Ùا ÙÙ ÙØاÙظÙÙ"
Arent you affraid of Allah to oppose His words mentioned above?
So, i suggest to you to fear Allah and stop this nonsense. okay?
