How come he would let so many be deceived, and taught the wrong religion...without showing himself to them...to prove the right religion....Man has changed the Books writtings.. maybe the Quran hasn't been changed for 1600 years....if could be wrong in the first place...someone let a man that was couldn't read or write deliver the Quran....who's going to hurt him...of corse he couldn't have done it alone....we must believe....and the Jews not believe in Jesus...Did they or did they not personally know God...why does some do ...some don't....I guess I am asking...should we be punished for following the wrong religion...if we don't know the truth?

Well the truth is there, for all to see, if, anyone looks for the truth sincerely, they will find it, the problem is that not many want the truth, some believe, and some don't, it is usually because of peoples heart condition, as I said before many don't want the truth, God expects his followers to share his truth with everyone, by evangelising, and his true followers do that, but, people don't want to know, not knowing the truth, is no excuse therefore, it is up to each individual, to find the truth, just have a look on here at Yahoo Answers, and how many people complain, about getting religion or the Bible, forced down their throats, if someone even mentions something from the Bible. The Jews did personally know God, but, they turned away from him, and followed their own traditions in preferance to God's will, and they also rejected God's son Jesus Christ! They even rejected using God's name because of superstition, so ,they really walked way, away, from God, just like most people do today. Therefore, there is no excuse, not, to know the truth and the true religion because the true religion follows God's Word and his will and they preach about God's kingdom
bring the truth to people, so that, everyone can learn the truth ,if they want to know it, the Bible prophesied in Mathew 24:14 where the it says that before the end comes, the good news of the kingdom would be preached in all the inhabited earth, for a witnes to all the nations so that all, get the opportunity to get a warning about the end of the wicked system of things today, and for them to get to know the truth, that is why in 2Thessalonians1:8 it God tells us that he will bring vengence upon those who do not know him, or obey the good news about our Lord Jesus Christ! So yes, when God gives us instruction, then we should follow theinstruction from God not our own way but the way he requires of us!Yes we should be punished as you say if we don't know the truth, because if we don't know the truth it is because we don't want to know it, that is usually why people don't bother finding the truth out since they think that not knowing the truth will absolve them from the responsibility of it, but it does not work that way, because the truth is bought to us, even to our doors! I hope this helps you understand it more clearly I would be happy to answer any question you might have either about this or something other from the Bible if you email me I will research your question in the Bible before I answer!

Man is created by God. The writing in Quran are not changed or even revised for the last 1600 years.(We commence) withthe name of Allah (swt). The most Gracious (to begin with). The most Merciful (to the end). Most Beneficent, from beginning of the creation Most Compassionate, in the Hereafter. It is an established fact that Islam is the only religion that offers a complete code of life, and its fundanmental manifesto is the Holy Quran. The Quran is the Final Message of Allah to Humanity, that was revealed to the last of Prophets, Muhammad (SAAS) through the Arch angel (SWAT) Gabriel. The dominant features of the Holly Quran is its comprehensiveness and completeness. Such distinction has never been found in any other scripture. No ot her Divine scriptur e furnishes such elaborate details concerning worldly life, death. Purgatory and Resurection. Your question is half baked. Had you thoght any thing in the light of Quran, you would not have sent such stupid question on net.

I suggest you read the Bible and pray on it. It will help you have understanding of things. From the Bible, you see that God is not the only force at hand. At the beginning with Adam and Eve, there was already the presence of evil. There is an ongoing war between good and evil and we are in the middle. A good way to look at this is by reading Job. In the beginning, he had everything yet he was still God-fearing and very devoted to God. The Devil told God that the only reason why Job is praising him is because everything's good right now. What God was able to show the Devil was that he was wrong and Job remained a faithful servant throughout the trials. Job was able to prove his love for God.

You can apply this to the way people interact with God. Yes, God could easily force someone to go the way he wants, to praise him, but what would that show? It would not show that people truly love him and revere him. As a person, would you want to force someone to love you? That 'love' would be meaningless. You want them to show and prove that they love you of course. With that in mind, also remember that there is good and evil that are constantly fighting. And because we were given free will, we have the choice of what side to choose. If you're on the good side, you have evil trying to pull you down. And when you're on the bad side, you have good trying to fight for you. However, I believe these forces can only encourage you to take their side. Therefore the choice is ultimately yours. A good place to start is by reading guides like "Light My Path For Teens"

lol sorry mushtaq i'm not trying to tailgate your answers but I couldn't resist this one ^_^.

God never made man to be deceived, but God made man to make his own choice.
God has layed out all what must be done, God has made all man good, but with all the bad things happening, with all the temptation around us, it is up to man which path he will follow.
Whatever our religion is, whatever name we call our god, it will always, ALWAYS come down to one, that there is an all powerful being who created us all, that guides over us, that have layed out rules in life, that we must not hurt each other and forgive each other.
What matters most is, do we live are life to the fullest without committing mistakes, and if we do commit mistakes do we repent in doing so?

Just to put it in a few words: This life is a test , if a man can live as per instructions of God to lead the life or as per satan's desires.

Satan was given time (he begged for time from God) till dooms day, as the satan told God that he would put mankind on the wrong opath, but God said those who are pious would not be decieved.

Because it's not about the way you worship God, (i.e. the politics of religion, "I'm right and your wrong", "Daddy loves me best") it's all about how we treat each other.

Jesus said the greatest commandment was "love thy neighbor as thyself".

There are many who hate their neighbor, who condemn them and often want to kill them, and do so in the name of their chosen religion or denomination, I believe it is these of whom Jesus spoke when he said "Many will say have I not prophesized in your name? and I will say I never knew you".

You have a chance to think with that brain of yours. Thats why you were created a person rather than a baboon in the first place.

With whatever resources that is avaialable, you can make a choice. And if you make the wrong one, then please pay for it.
