I need to lose weight, but whenver I try to eat less it never works. I'm 13. What can I do?

Firstly, you should love your body, your only 13, your still going to grow taller and loose your 'puppy fat' (as my mum use to call it lol). But if your tha upset have your 3 meals and 3 snacks daily but everytime you feel hungry after these get a glass of water drink it and occupy yourself, 2 minutes later you wont feel hungry, I dont know how it works but it definately does. Otherwise you could see your doctor and ask them for ways to loose weight.

HI. I "dieted" myself all the way up to 200 pounds by yo-yo dieting. When you diet or starve, it makes your body slow down your metabolism, makes your body think its starving, so it holds onto every calorie that comes in. If you eat smaller portions of everything, even if you eat one item every 4 hours, you will lose weight. The way I stop thinking about food is to get really interested in doing other things, then I'm too busy to think of food. Also when I think I'm hungry, I get water or tea to drink. Not pop or juice...tons of calories and sugar that will lead to diabetes really fast. Also if you have fruit sitting around or veggies cut up, they are great to eat when you do think of food, without the calories. Good luck to you, but PLEASE don't mess up your metabolism for life like I did (by starving and dieting). It should be a healthy lifestyle, not a diet, which means you will end what you are doing soon. The first 3 letters of diet are DIE...better to have a LIVE IT than a DIET.

ai ya, don't care about it, only care if you are like 60 or 70 kg, we grow fast at that time. But do go seek a doctor if you like to eat and eat without stopping. Also, if you want to stop thinking about food, think about other things or go out with friends..... just do something!!

The less you eat, the more you end up thinking about food. When I was anorexic, I'd dream about eating mountains of food and then waking up all panicky.

just dont think about it try a subway diet, or just go to the gym and work out with yur ipod, mp3 or cd player, or whatever good luck

If you have any liking for music, just enhance it. Try to learn or to listen....it surely will help you.
