Japan is so aggressive that America wanted to put a stop to its imperialistic attacks on other nations which was the most valid reason for US to test its atomic bombs.

No.
The USA declared war on Japan as a result of Pearl Harbor.
The bombs were used to stop the war...They calculated the number of lives that would be lost in an extended war, based on the daily lives being lost at that time. They decided that the bomb would kill alot of lives at one time, but the lives lost would be far less than the lives lost if the war continued.

But also, if there was not a Pearl Harbor attack, then the nukes probably would never have been used.

BTW it wasn't Hiroshima bombs.
It was one Hiroshima and one Nagasaki

Yeah, they attacked us so we went to wr. The reason for the atomic bomb drop was to limit American casualties. The Japanese were (are) proud people who would not have surrendered easily either through regualr bombing or a land invasion. Both sides would probably have lost a lot more people in a land attack. We had to prove beyond a doubt that there was no option other than surrender.

We did not have the technology just to bomb factories in those days. It was open the bomb doors and drop the bombs. People lived near where they worked.

I'm sure there was some lingering emotion because of Pearl Harbor, but the reasons Truman went ahead with the bombings were simple- We had the weapon, it could in one strike obliterate an industrial city supplying the war machine of the enemy, and end the war quickly.

The war in the pacific was being waged at an incredible cost, and the Japanese were ruthless warriors, often beheading our POWs and eating their organs. So much for Abu Ghraib, eh?

History tells us the bombing of Hiroshima was in retaliation for what happened to Pearl Harbor. But it was more than just that - the atom bomb was being developed and needed a test - I guess history also tells us where they successfully tested it. There's a saying that goes - he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword - tit for tat. The second world war was never won. The A bomb just put a stop to it. No one ever wins from wars.

To save the lives of a million plus American fighting men. Reguardless of what some experts have dubbed the eventual surrender of Japan I dont believe it would have happened had we not dropped the Bombs. Every engagement leading up to the bombs showed Japanese forces Greatly outnumbered Most battles but still many fought until they were dead.

I just dont think if the batle would have been taken to the Japanese mainland I dont it would have offered anything less then a million americans dead in taking it.

US is the only country that used nuclear weapons on civilians. This means they may do it again and therefore makes US a constant threat to the world peace. The war machine does not really need an excuse to invade countries. Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq are some examples.

It was estimated that the invasion of Japan would cost us 1,000,000 casualties. The Atomic Bombs were used to bring out a quick end of the war. It was a gamble since there were only two. I have read once that after these two, there might have been enough material to make one more. It was a long shot.

They were intended to shorten the Pacific war and save lives, American ones mainly. Do many people realize just how badly Japanese cities were bombed using conventional methods let alone those two terrible things?
