Is it a sin for women? Is it a sin for men?

To Ryan t: By your logic no action can be rendered sin because there is always someone who can incorporate it into their self. You are confusing between action and being. While action proceeds from being, being also is the result of our actions. We can harm our own being by certain actions just as we can harm others' beings by other actions. We should not put a limit to our beings or our actions except where they harm either our own being or others' beings or their properties or the world at large, the property of God and the abode of humanity.

Now the question is can wearing nail polish somehow harm the self or the other? I believe it can, because in it the person is falling back on the self (relying on the past) and failing to become (move towards the future). They are glorying in their own self, and no one who does so can still become. Only one who glories in God can become.

No,it's not a sin.
God' has created the human being 100% perfect.
If it is not perfect only we need some thing extra!
Most of the women wear nail polish ,
which I think is not necessary.

I don't think wearing nail polish in of itself is a sin.
But it can be depending on your intent.
Just like a lot things in this world, they aren't inherently evil till you put a purpose/intent behind it.
(Like a car could be used to give someone a ride, or used to runover someone).

I cant see why it would be. It really is only a superficial enhancement that can be removed at any given point in time. Just like any other cosmetic.

don't worry yourself on the small details of what is sin and what is not, just be you, if "you" is someone who wears nail polish then that is a part of you and whatever your god... you can not be taken from yourself

only if you are putting it on in church and the bottle spills on the carpet and you try and use holy water to wash it out but that doesn't work so you blame it on the kid sitting next to you.

That'd be a sin.
