I am trying a new hairstyle which involves me getting hair extensions. Does anyone know the estimated price that I would be paying... and how long they last? (Considering that the Salon does a really good job....)

I'm assuming everyone who answered has never had any extensions and if they did it was most likely by either students or friends.
hair extensions are typically between $450-2,000. depending on length, texture, color, etc. they last between 4-6 months (depending on your hair growth). it also depends on how you put them in. braided, bonded, glued, etc. uhm, i wouldn't trust just anyone with your hair.
if put in wrong with any chemical it could lead to major hair damage or loss. make sure you check out your source first. try going to the great lengths website.

WELL FIRST U HAVE 2 CONSIDER HOW MUCH HAIR U R GOING 2 NEED IN YOUR HEAD.A LOT OF SALON'S CHARGE U BY IF U WANT A FULL HEAD OF HAIR OR A HALF OF A HEAD OF HAIR.IF U R GETTING THE HAIR GLUED IN IT MAY LAST 2 TO 3 WEEKS.IF U GET THE HAIR SOWN IN IT WILL LAST AS LONG AS U WANT IT 2 BECAUSE U CAN WASH IT JUST LIKE YOUR REAL HAIR.PRICING RANGING FROM $65.00-$150.00 IN A SALON.

it all depend on the part of the country you live in and also do you have ethnic hair or straight hair?? i have heard that people keep theirs in anywhere from 2 months up to 6 months!!! i think it depend on how you care them while you have them in your hair as far as price i have heard people pay anywhere from $40.00 to $300.00 again depend on what kind of look you are going for and how professional you want them to look best thing to do is ask around at salons or if you see someone with extensions ask her where she had it done..good luck

they are between 120-200 because you can also buy clip on's you clip them in to your own hair and they look like natural hair as if your hair is long....... and ou can take them out when ever you want and this wauy they last longer ...

not sure about the price but wouldn't they like last forever.i mean they are making ur hair longer right?it wont just grow shorter or anything.

well when i got mine done it costed me round up to £200 and they lasted me up to 5yrs depending how well you look after your nwe locks.
