The easiest way is to get a tapeworm ... unfortunately you will probably be dead in a few months, so it kind of doesn't work long-term.

I hate to break it to you doll, there is no easy way. You need to educate yourself about food, how to eat it, how to prepare it, what's good for you and what isn't. The Atkins diet will make you lose a lot of weight quickly, but it's very dangerous. WeightWatchers is good for the support network, but I found that they were inclined to push their own brand products a bit much. Unislim is also good. So far, the best has been the Carol Vorderman detox programme, in which you eat 4 or 5 meals a day (I'm serious) but very healthy food, lots of salads and vegetables and grains and high fibre, very little meat or fish, very similar to Dr Gillian Keith in You Are What You Eat. The plus in this is that that it's very good for you in other ways, and you feel more energetic, so you are more inclined to boost your weight loss programme by going for brisk walks and that kind of thing.

Psychologically, get a buddy to do it with you, you will encourage each other to keep trying, and to help each other back on track when you have a slip-up day (which happens!).

All the best with it.

Personal opinion...there is no easy way. It takes time, thought and determination!
That said, eat a good healthy diet with lots of fresh fruit and veg, cut down on meat portions, eat granary bread and whole foods. Try and steer clear of highly processed foods (eg instant meals) and go for foods which will keep you satisfied longer. Do a google on the "GI Diet" for some info on that.
Watch portion sizes, its very easy to pile your plate and eat far too much at one sitting (this is the thing I have had most problems with...old habits die hard!). Keep fatty and sugary foods to a minimum.
Eat regularly 3 times a day and DO NOT skip breakfast!!! Have a snack between meals, something like fruit and drink plenty of water. Go easy on soft drinks, especially those with caffine added, it really mucks up your metabolism!
Exercise. Every day! I'm not advising something as tough as the gym here. Walking is brilliant, get a pedometer and build up to 10,000 steps a day. Drag a friend (or the neighbours dog) to do it with you. I hated it at first but now I find my evening 3 miles relaxing and it gets me ready for a good nights sleep.
Don't get too hung up about how much you lose every week, work towards a loss but not a strict target. Measure you waist before you start, you will find that this is a good indication of how well you are doing. Losing inches makes you feel great too ;)

Good luck. I have made start and everything here is what I am doing now. I have lost 4 stone (56 lbs) in 14 weeks so I know it works.

The easiest way is not necessarily the best way .
The best way is what works for you and your body type.
The basic for any weight loss is
1st cut out the negative such as pop, fast food, sweets, snacks chips etc.
Eat about 5or 6 small meals a day. This keeps you metabolism burning. Eat lots of veggies and fruits, drink plenty of water..drink a large glass of water before meals. add fresh lemon to your water daily, this will cut your apatite and flush like a diuretic. If you need to have a full feeling after you have eaten drink water. Exercise , water aerobic or water exercise works well, you don't have to swim.
Walking and or jogging in the water works wonders. I Tried a lots of things weight watcher included . But this is what worked for me .You must set your mind to a life style change, NOT A DIET . diets are temporary and so is the weight loss. I have lost 56 lbs and have kept it off for 3 years.
Good Luck

I read a book by Judy Cole called "Heal your weight - stop digging your grave with your knife and fork" and started on her diet. I've been on it a year and half now, have lost three stone and never want to go back to the way I was eating before. I'm eating more than I've ever done but don't put on any weight. The key is to avoid eating things you're intolerant to. Weight loss is a healing issue not a dieting issue!!!! Have a look at her website www.judycole.co.uk

If you are very overweight just cutting down on the food and doing a small bit of exercise should shed quite a few pounds in itself. To get your weight really low u have to eat all the right foods and exercise at least 4 time s a week doing cardio and weights for at least 1 hour per session, ideally 1.5 hours. No pain no gain.

Set yourself short term goals - such as get down to xxlbs.
Eat a healthy balanced diet - plenty of fruit and veg!!
Don't eat unhealthy snacks
Don't shop on an empty stomach
Maintain a reasonable exercise schedule
Make these changes permanent lifestyle changes - not a diet!
Don't expect weight loss of more than 1 or 2 pounds a week
Be happy!

Is it weight that you want to lose or fat?? it is quite possible for you to tone up your body with exercise and not lose weight.. you would look and feel better but the scales would not be any different.
