My friend is a "punk" rock looking person.
I'm more of a "preppy" looking person.
The other day, I went with her to get her nipples pierced.
It looked extremely painful.
She has her lip pierced and is now telling me I need to pierce mine.
I have asked like 20 people if I should do it and they are always like "no it doesnt fit you."
Can a preppy looking person pull a lip ring off?

The question is, do YOU truly want one or not? Stop worrying about what everyone else thinks you "need" to do or "should" do.
Frankly, I think facial piercings have a pretty high "ick" factor myself; but at least you can remove it if it doesn't suit you, and any scarring should be minimal.

Yeah a preppy person can pull off a lip ring. Just get a small ball or spike put on it so it doesn't stand out as much. My bf has his lip pierced and he just doesn't wear a ball on it very often. It really looks nice on him.
But before you go get it done you need to make sure your the one who really wants it done. But if you do get it and decided you don't like it, you can always just take it out. It's not permanent like a tattoo.

It's your decision but I was told about a young lady that had her lip pierced, she was eating a fillet of fish and the sauce was dribbling though the hole in her lip. Not a very good look.

Don't force yourself to do any of that unless you really like it. And don't stereotype yourself either. You are beautiful and unique, so do whatever makes you feel beautiful. Never to impress anyone but yourself. I f you do decide on doing it I guess you'll look great.
