Is a touch lamp harmful to other electronics like a radio or game system if it is too close? Because there might be static on the lamp? thanks.

No, Your Touch Lamp Operates from a Triac, which is nothing more than a Ssensitive Electronic Switch. It is very Possible that Your Touch Lamp might make a Static Sound on an AM Radio, similar to what a Fluorescent Lamp would Cause.But as far as any Damage ,not to Worry.

we have several touch lamps around our home near other electronics including laptops, digital alaram clocks, ipods, etc. We've never had any problems with interference. I think you're good to go...

nah, you're okay. Touch lamps don't work like that.
