It would never happen with me. I think there are too many cultural differences and would stay with my own kind.

First fo all - Congratulations!

Nothing wrong with marrying a person you love anywhere in the world. Legally, make sure that the wedding papers are not only valid in the country where you get married, but also in your country. You will need to get in touch with your embassy to find out more.

Sure. It will be an Excitment But just be sure that you really love each other. The same has happened in my case and I will be marring a foreigner only. Shes a Beautiful Phil girl. Go On. Best of Luck. ;)

Life is an adventure...
the value of which is determined not only by the amount of risk we take...but also in the quality of the adventure....

When we marry, we marry out of love and a desire to be with this one person...for always...

add a sense of the foreign and unfamiliar...
it sounds a little scarey - and a lot exciting.

I'd go for it.

Make sure you have all the paper work in order to marry in another country.
If your family and friends cant attend, decide if you will be ok with that.
Enjoy the day.

If I was madly in love with him,and he with me , then I 'd be happy, and it wouldn't make any difference...but for the most part--i don't do foreign countries...or foreigners.

I would probably not make such a choice. Life is difficult enough in one's own country. Why look for additional problems?
Realistically love alone, does NOT solve everything!

That question is really hard to answer. I am the type of person that when I am dating someone, they must be close to me. It is hard enough for me right now. I am dating someone from Joliet, Illinois, that is 2 1/2 hours away from me.

I'm Canadian. My husband's American. I was going to move down there but things weren't going well ( I had a car accident and then hurricane katrina hit for him) so we decided to move him up here instead. Everything is going just fine now.

The fact that your asking that question on this site worries me!!

I don't think your quite ready for this, because if you were, you wouldn't be asking anybody what they thought..

Think about it a little more before you go and get married!!
