I hate to break it to you, but the Atkins diet is definitely NOT for vegetarians.

If that doesn't deter you, you'd have to eat a lot of cheese, eggs and yogurts and dairy products. Which, in my opinion, sort of goes against everything that the vegetarian diet promotes.

If you are interested in losing weight, consider boosting your activity levels, watching your food intake (calories), and avoiding refined carbohydrates (quick-digesting sugars).

Atkins works, but I don't think it is a permanent solution to weight loss issues.

I don't think thats possible,on atkins you can't have carbs,which is fruit and vegetables.

I didnt think a Vegetarian was fat.
