I know several women who have kids and date (one has a live in) single childless men. I also know a woman with a child who married a single childless male, he adopted her daughter and they now have two other children and have been together going on 10 years.

I didn't, but I am not sure that I would now. Some men want to know if they are going to be in competition for the women's affection if she has kid/s. A certainly a valid concern, however, the maturity and character make-up of single moms is remarkable due to their experience in life and their view on relationships.

Depends what type of man he is. If he really wnats to be with you then he will respect and understand that you come along with a child, in other words you are a package deal.
You would be surprised how many men dont mind. But then again if she has alot of kids and alot of different fathers thats not very attractive.

I would stay away from single moms with kids. It raises a variety of questions:
"Why didn't it work out with the dad?"
"Is her situation something she planned or it just sorta happened?"
"If for any reason, I can't build a relationship with her kid, does my relationship with her suffer?"
Well, you get the idea... the presence of the kid kinda complicates things. So I'm responding with a big resounding YES, I stay away from dating single women with kids.

i am not single and i have a 8 month old but when i go out to be with my friends i tell guys that i have a child to scare them and i also tell them i am with someone and they still don't back off. i think that just about everyone nowadays have kids. i don't think that it bothers guys anymore. and if you go out and a guy can't respect that you have a child then he is not worth your time. your child comes first and if the guy can't understand that you don't need him in your life. don't worry there is someone out there for you. i found that when i wasn't looking i found my soul mate. good luck and respect yourself.

Yeah. Sorry to say, but that's just how it is. Most guys don't want to the extra responsibiltiy of children. Plus, where's the honeymoon period with the child(ren) around?

i have found, by observation, that men under 35 run for the hills from women with children..... the reverse is not always true tho...... my son has 4 kids, he is only 25, *sigh*, I know, long story, but his g/f is just adorable and is great about it all..... God bless

Most of them , but not ALL OF THEM..
And its good to find someone in the "NOT ALL OF THEM CATEGORY" cause they have their own individuality and besides, are more sensitive to feelings and are mature enough to spend a lifetime with and have a relationship and truly respect , too ..

As long as it does not culminate into marriage it does not matter a dime whether the woman has kids or no kids.

To be honest, yes they do, unless they are really, really desperate about it. But then, it won't last long, things happened out of des‧per‧ate‧ness.
