Seeing that person with someone else does not mean that the qualities you admired have gone away. It simply means that you ought to take a step back and admire from afar so as not to interfere but that should not mean backing off completely if you are already friends. Just distant enough not to get either of you hurt.

If they're with someone i think isn't good enough for them i want them even more. I've recently had this happen. I had a big crush on a lady from work for about a year now and she recently got into a relationship with a really nice guy and I've totally moved on. Look at it like this: She's happy with the person she's with, why interfere with that? It would be selfish.

If I like this person but turns out that he belongs to someone, the only message that I get is to find somebody else...there's so many fishes in the ocean...why would I waste my time liking him...

Liking a person is different from loving a person. If she is not married, you can still admire her but to pursue her other than for friendship purposes is not ethical. Just be friends with her for the meantime, who knows?
But if she is married, be friends but stay distant friends. I should stress stay distant....So as not to get burned by fire.

Yeah, back off a bit. Dont be obsessive, if they are meant to be, they will be, if not than you can get at them. But for now, just stay low and dont wait around. What happens happens.

nope infact i think it makes you want that person even more....because we always want what we can't have.....and far as liking someone....we can't control are feelings if you like that person then you like that person....so its not a matter of do you stop liking them....what matters is what you feel for that person and will it ever ware off.
