Don't know. Don't care. God isn't a Republican. Or a Democrat.
Just remember that not all of us who are conservative Christians are Republicans. And not all of us embrace the "angry evangelicalism" of the Religious Right. It's possible to be evangelical without being angry like the Religious Right is, but the reason they're angry is because they're married politically to the GOP, and since God is neither Republican nor Democrat, He isn't showing up at the parties' conventions, so of course those who insist that God belongs to one party or the other are ticked off when He doesn't show up since they think He belongs to their party but really doesn't.
