Yes, one of the best things about most 'holy books' is the fact that you can interperate them to mean anything at all!
I'm sure if you study long enough you will find reams of talking donkeys!!
Most Christians already talk using the sense and logic of donkeys, so they must have got the idea from some where! Try the New Testament first!!
