BOTH! Why should you stop likeing her? Like her and move on at the same time. If in the process of opening yourself up to others you discover that you can only truly love "her", then tell her so. If in the process of couritng others "she" feels offended then she needs to face reality. Open honesty is the best in the long run. But be sure that you are being honest with yourself first.

By your question shall i move on , you sound very mature..
Well just give it one last go and ask her what does she mean good friends for a while??Give yourself time to understand her better .. you know her as a friend till now , ask her what is it she looks in a relationship .. Give your self certain time frame and act according to that in order to make a mistake by the relationship..
All the best

i was once in a situation like this before...i liked one of my best freinds a lot...i asked her out and she said she wanted to be friends...we remained friends...i had feelings for her a couple years later when we met again...so i went for and asked her out again...again same responce, "friends"...so i gave up and moved on...but i still have feelings for her...she now has a bf and i have myself....so if you really like this girl go with your gut...dont give up...if she says no at least you will have is the friendship and the knowledge that she knows how you feel about her and maybe her feelings will change towards you in a good way....so work at it

Friends and true Friends are hard to find. Girl friends will come and go. What is more important to you.
My advice, is to continue your friend ship with your best friend,
Don't lose something for nothing

You are asking if you should keep liking your best friend??? If you are gonna give up that easy or worry so much about her "liking" you, you are really not her friend at all; just selfish.

Just be who you are. If she doesn't like you back then move on. That's the best you can do. Good Luck!

its clear she needs some space... maybe shes not ready for a relationship yet. Often times woman will say that because they dont feel ready yet. But just give it time, give her some space, but show her u care at the same time. You will know when the time is right and she will show you.

You have to move on, she needs to be excited about you. Find a woman who is. By the way, she feels like she does and can't do anything about it. Don't force her to kick you in the butt.
