You should actually be thankful that the separation that occurred caused this person's lustful feelings to chill and he began to think far more objectively about a relationship. This in turn caused him to realize that a romantic relationship wouldn't work. That's a rather important decision to make, the sooner the better before you both became emotionally attached to each other. Find someone who would treat you like a princess=]

How long has it been since you broke up? I know that in my case, the time it took for me to "forget" them varied from boyfriend to boyfriend. The LONGEST time was probably around 7 or 8 months. That was my first love, and it was really difficult to forget him because we were in college together, and were in a lot of classes together. I feel for you. It's SO hard going through this, and there's not much in this world that sucks more than a broken heart. You know what can help...go on a nice shopping trip, get some attractive new clothes that make you feel sexy. Then go to someone who knows how to do makeup professionally, and have them teach you how to make yourself look sultry and sexy. (Not slutty--just sexy) Then get out with your girlfriends, and flirt like heck with some cute guys. Be funny, and clever, and be the girl they all want to hang out with--not only as hot arm candy, but the girl they want to wine and dine, as well as watch "the game" with and introduce to their buddies. Once you see that there is a WORLD of possibilities when it comes to the men out there, you'll wonder what ever made you so stuck on the first guy. (You know...whazzizname???)

Is not for you, is hard to forget but is not making any change to think about anymore. The reality of life force as not to be lacked for some 4 months of relationship. Do something for future or better today for yourself.

I have been there, done that for the past year. It gets easier, but it will take awhile. Just don't keep yourself locked in the house. Go out and meet new people, and let time do the rest. Good luck!

Gather up your girls and go out dancing. Find a hobby that you love and spend more time with friends. Start dating someone else, and be the one to make the first move.

you just said yourself that you "can't forget him". how're you gonna forget 'im if you think that? believe in yourself, believe that the feelings that you still have for him will go away, and go do something fun, like watch a movie with the girls to get your mind offa him. :)

The best way is to just not talk to him. After a while, you will stop getting any feelings for him.

You'll never forget him and it will always be painful, although time will moderate those feelings. It happens to all of us, and it is part of being human...move forward.
