I'm 38, with two elementary school daughters, and helping take care of their sickly grandmother. I'm pot bellied, and have a face reminiciant of Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka. What woman would go for that?

Honey I'm 43 and have 2 kids, 18 & 13 and I also feel destined to be alone forever. I am in the same prediciment as you are, I also am taking care of my sickly mother. It's very hard because you feel like you have no time for yourself. You will meet someone eventually as time goes on and there are women who would go for you I'm sure. Not to sound full of myself but I'm pretty good looking I think for 43 but I too am alone but I think it's something that I want right now because I feel as though I have no time for a relationship right now. As you get older though you start to think is this it? Am I alone for good? It can be depressing. Good luck and I hope you meet someone that likes you and your kids because liking your kids is also as important as someone liking you.

Hey...there are a lot of women out there who would love to meet someone who sounds as caring as you. Don't give up on yourself. 38 isn't old, but it's a difficult age to meet unattached women. Seriously, try a dating service like e-harmony. You can meet some really cool, nice single women who are in the same boat as you are.
P.S. Gene Wilder is kinda cute...

No one knows what the future holds. All one can do is smile and make yourself available. But, I would get rid of the pot belly if you want to live a long quality life. :-)

You probably have 2 beautiful daughters that are a lot of fun, You are very kind to be taking care of their grandmother when it would be easier to dump her in a home......My husband thought nobody would ever love him & That amazes me because he is so sweet, intelligent & loving - Neither one of us is perfect but we are perfect together.....I know you will find someone to love you!!! lose weight and youl be fine. theres always online dating hell i read in the newspaper that theres 4000 new online daters every hour. thats a lot of people to say no.

relax my man... easy does it and all that jazz...... if you want to change something, then change it...... improve on it I should say...... find a gym and get rid of the pot belly...... you are still young !!!!! she will walk into your life when you are not looking.... so concentrate on YOU........
