It all has to do with sensitivity. Can you tell if a coin is heads or tail by just feeling of it? How about if you were latex gloves? Rub your lips with your finger and the cover your lips with Saran wrap and try it. The nerve densities on the lips, finger tips, and privates are pretty high, a barrier will reduce the sensation.
It is still best to use protection against std. In some circles, having kids is an std, but I digress.

without being gross yes its better without a condom. it feels more natural and a condom desensitises the penis so the pleasure is greater without. but safe sex is ,or should be, more important. a few seconds of pleasure is not worth a life threatening disease or an unwanted pregnancy!

Definitely feels better without it.
No-one likes using a condom but you got to use it to prevent yourself from catching any diseases.
