Dental phobia and extreme fear and panic are common in people with PTSD or childhood abuse survivors. I'm trying to find a dentist in my area that specializes in this.

check with an orthodontist who specializes in reconstructive surgery, and they may know of people you would like to contact.

1-800-DENTIST is a phone number that may help. Alot of ppl offer Anixety free dentistry. In other words they give you a pill rather than shots. I never knew about PSTD could do that. I was recently diagnosed with PSTD and I hate dentists! Good Luck.
