Why wouldn't a guy want to spend an evening with his girl, hanging out on the couch, cuddled up in comfy clothes, watching fun movies, talking with one another, holding one another, looking into eachothers eyes, laughing with one another, then eventually falling asleep together? Sounds like a perfect evening to me, so why doesn't my boy want to?

Oooh! I bet you are a young couple!! Yes, that would be a great evening for a lot of men, but if he didn't see that coming from his mom and dad, then he will not likely do it himself. Mom and dad are where we get a lot of our relationship cues. Also, if he is not a PDA(Public Displays of Affection) type of guy, then he may not want to do the touchy-feely thing at home. The best way to find out why is to just ask him. DO NOT badger him into doing that, because the idea is for both of you to enjoy the evening, and if he is doing it just to please you, that will not necessarily be the goal. Good luck and have fun.

what does he want to do then? i see nothing wrong with a romantic evening at home with the one you love so dont blame yourself for his lack of romance. how about this try going with him and do what he is doing. he may come around. be warned if he doesnt want that he may be cheating and your looking at the end of the relationship. then the best thing for you to do is to leave him with your dignity intact and find someone who will appeciate you and love you correctly. i wish you luck and hope things work out for you.

guys have their own agenda for what is a perfect thing .... talking sports or cars, hunting, UFC fights, etc...... sorry, just the way it is....... dont expect so much all in ONE night..... ask only for an hour of his time...... teach him at a slow pace that all the stuff you mention is OK for guys to want too..... we mothers dont always teach our sons the type of things that women need or want... I did my best, but some things are just to hard or akward to teach or show...... sorry, I did try tho....... God bless

because either he doesn't know how to treat a woman, or he thinks he has more important things to do. (like poker night with the guys) Now on the other hand, I LOVE to do all of these things you wish he would do. ;)

Because he probably finds the TV boring. My ex was like that too. Good luck.
