I know it sounds stupid but can you get birthmarks when you're a teenager? I have these big red rashes on my back that look like birthmarks and I've had them for many years. Whenever I go to the doctor they ask me if they're birthmarks and I always say that I got them years ago, and they never say anything after. I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this. Could something be wrong?

Yes, I was born w/ a perfectly clear face, then when I was about 5, I developed a tiny beauty mark on my left cheek. I had it removed when I was 22 because I never liked it.

I was wondering the same thing. My sister had one show up on her neck that she didnt notice until she was older. I am pretty sure you can though.
