My unit is deployed and I was trying to boost the morale of the group. By showing them that the people are thankful for what we do. Also the surprise of gifts will only make life a little easier.

CONTACT THE VFW, they sent us stuff in Afghanistan all the time, calling cards, toiletries stuff like that...Contact schools in your UNITS local areas they will probably start sending cards, packages, and letters...Single Soldiers receieved special packages from the Local Community I was stationed in as well.

Your FRG(FAMILY READINESS GROUP) not sure if the marine corp has that, should be able to start a local campaign for yall as well.


Also email me at Angelorunner25@yahoo.com if you have an Address, points of contacts, I'll send something personally, having experienced the uplifting experience of receiving carepackages...I also work for a National Guard bootcamp for teenagers in Texas and will contact to see if our Corp members will start a writting campaign for yall before they graduate in december Perhaps your Marines might write back to them and offer encouragement to better themselves and tell them what life in iraq is like
