I need to send thank you notes to Christian people that helped us make our inaugural service a very special occasion. How should I word the individual notes? Ministers, praise dancers and worship singers that were not members of our church but donated their time and talent.

Hi Jac,
Id address it with biblical references in general.
That you are grateful for there dedication and hard work in making the event happen smoothly, and though they "officially" do not hold any office, that there efforts have not gone unnoticed.
That just like the "KID WITH THE LOAVES AND FISH, OR THE GOOD SAMARITAN, THOUGH NEITHER ONE OF THESE HAD A "SET DUTY" ....THAT IN REALITY THEY WERE LIVING OUT THEIR LIVES AS JESUS WOULD HAVE THEM DO.
BY USING THEIR TALENTS TO FURTHER GOD KINGDOM AND BRING HIM GLORY.
OK? =) GODBLESS! -LIVE4TRUTH=]
