I think you need to try PRANAYAM of Ramdevbaba on Astha channel.I am not really a theist at all and at first I did not believe in it but when I did it, it helped me a lot not only in memory and concentration but also it solved a lot of physical problems as well like cough, cold,etc.

Here's a good way to start.
Sit in a comfortable position, with a straight spine, and the eyes either closed, or out of focus.
This is a good one to teach our mind to concentrate, called the twenty-four second meditation. It involves picturing numbers made up of dots as shown on large digital displays. We commence by picturing the digits 24. When we can clearly visualise each dot which makes each of the two digits two and four, then we move to 23, and 22. The concentration on the dots helps to eliminate other thoughts from the mind, and with a little practice over a few days, we are able to move from 24 down through all the digits to 0. If another thought enters our mind during this process, then we must start again. This is why it takes a few days before we are able to succeed Once we can succeed then we are achieving an alpha state of mind, which is relaxed, and free of the linear thought process. This is the state of mind required for deep meditation, which we discuss later.

During the day we think of a lot of things. Some thoughts give us power and enthusiams whereas others make us tired. When we think of too many things the power of concentration decreases. That's why we need to be very assertive in choosing what is worth thinking of and what not - what gives us help and energy and what drains us from energy. Whatever we think of that is meditation. When we meditate on somethin we take some qualityes of the object of meditation. If we think of something sad we take sorrow and become sad. If we think of something blissfull - blissfull we become. To think of God is the smartest way to invest one's thoughts because He is the source of everything one may need including concentration, wisdom, good intellect, etc. The advantage of this meditation is that it helps the developement of self in a durable way and in all aspects of life not only carer, but also relationships, health.... I drink Brands ''Chicken Essence''. It really helps me to concentrate and it is good for your brain. Trust me, it will work.you knoe backstabbers. i hate them. before i drank Brands, i did not know they were talking behind my back. but after i drank Brands, i knew the backstabbers were gossiping about me behind my back. highly recommended,really.
