I do not believe that a third world war will occur. It will depend on the President that gets elected in 2008. If we elect another Bush protege, that is all guns and no brain, then the rest of the world will eventually turn on us. We are losing respect (read diplomacy) around the world. Country's are turning anti-American not because of the life we lead, but because who are we represented by. If it does happen, it will include America, Great Britain, and Australia versus Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Pakistan, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, North Korea, Venezuela, Iran and possibly the ruling faction in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some major players that will probably support the anti-American alliance will be China, Russia, Mexico and South American countries like Brazil, Peru, and Chile. If this comes to fruition, then start speaking Arabic because Americans these days do not have the strength to deal with the casualties and efforts to win a war like this.

My guess is the U.S., Israel, Britain, and Japan vs. China, Russia, Pakistan, and Iran.
