How to create a graph hour-by-hour over several days on x axis and numerical data on y axis.?

Would you please be more specific.

1) What software do you wanna use? (Excel, Programming in C, etc.)
2) I understand that you want to create a chart with Time on the X-Axis, and Numbers on Y-Axis, is that true? this should be completely easy.
3) can you put some samples on the data you are using, this can be really healpful
