I want to tone and strengthen my core, but I dont want big muscles! ANd i know I'm a girl, but trust me, I could build up muscles in my middle. ANy suggestions on ways Ishould do ab excercises like crunches? Any other excercises that will give me a strong core but no bulcky muscles. NO I do NOT need to lose weight. I am rather skinny.

Swim. And, for fun, try rock or wall climbing.

Don't worry.... with the exception of thigh muscles (quads, hams, etc) women don't build up large muscles like the guys do. Your core body muscles will never look like a male body builder's.

Best way to strengthen your core without building bulk is Iyengar Yoga. Try it, you will like the results
