look different in the eyes? After the people lost weight, their eyes appear bigger and the lids doesn't seem as baggy and droopy anymore. Could it be that they went through eyelid surgery? Or is it because since they lost a lot of fat in their body, they also lost fat in their upper eyelids, that's why they appear more awake and alert?

When you are overweight, your eyelids have more fat in them, and so do your nostrils ! Fat is everywhere.

I lost 170 lbs and afterward I had so much energy I was wide eyed and ready to basically run a marathon!

Also, because fat accumulates on the face, when you get really fat your eyes get smaller looking from all the fat forcing your eyes shut.

Hard to say. Could be that their all around nutrition is better and thus healthier for the other organs of the body. Also, if they are exercising, their circulation improves vastly and the tissue is receiving better blood flow.

They probably are more awake. Regardless of the way they've lost the weight, they've undergone changes in their diet. Healthier foods cause you to have more energy.
