Knowing that there is probably, only a very small number of people in India who speak Romance languages in the first place, which Romance language would be considered the most widely-spoken in India? I was thinking either French or Portuguese, but I'm not sure.

Romance languages, by definition, include: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Romanian.

Both French And Portuguese ....

French in places like pondichary(there r 4 places spread in 4 states)

Portuguese in goa diu daman

but french is more in population!!!

I always thought Urdu and Hindi were the most romantic languages. Romantic phrases and sentences said in those languages could never be translated to sound to beautiful and sincere in any other language. It's amazing.


And it's the most common language in India

some Indians speak Portuguese cuz there was a portuguese colony in the south of this country
