Note:
I'm skipping lunch only, I don't eat breakfast usually, I have to cook meals for the family so I'll be eating dinners.
3 day no food is all I can handle.

PJ: Have you ever noticed in your own life when trying to do something for the Lord that things get "heated up" rather it be circumstances, people, and certain situtations? Love to be specific but not wise, I thought oh yeah an attack from the enemy because my fast is for my pastor, the body of Christ and our Country and it's leaders.

I notice that so far no one has actually tried to help you reach any conclusion about the problem.
Therefore, let me say this: I certainly can relate. On the occasions when I've tried to fast (mostly without knowing the reason, and against my own desires) it has been one long hunger pang.
Then of course there are those other times when I'll be wrapped up in something and just forget to eat for a long time and not even notice. Or I am very hungry, but I don't have a chance to eat for a while, and then when I do sit down to eat, I'm not hungry anymore because I waited too long.
So here are some questions for you:
1. Why are you fasting?
2. Are you fasting because you feel a very deep need to for one reason or another, or are you doing it because someone else mentioned that it might be a good idea?
3. Fasting is typically meant to be accompanied by meditating on God in some way, shape, or form. What are you thinking about during your fast?
4. What are you being attacked by? Your own desire for food?
That's almost all I have to suggest. A couple of last things. If you try immersing yourself in something you find very interesting, it will help a decent bit. If your focus is always on "not eating" then you will necessarily be hungry a lot. If you instead focus on what you ARE doing and getting, spiritual food, water, whatever, you will be far less likely to feel "attacked".
Another point is this: in the Bible, there is basically no precedent for a long fast without either A: a direct command from God. Or B: a darn good reason. So you may wish to examine your reasons for doing a 30-day fast, and see if that is really the best thing for you to do, or if there are other, more effective ways to do whatever it is you need to do.

Hi!!
Tomorrow is the first day of my 30 day fast! I am excited and looking forward to it. I have done many fasts before, though this will be twice as long as my previous longest fast. I can tell you that after a few days your overpowering hunger will really and truly subside. It gets a lot better by your 4th day, for sure.
For me, sometimes it's a good idea to avoid being around people who are eating sumptuous meals. But don't be too upset by everybody else's life going on around you.
And in general, I don't aviod thinking about food. In fact I LOVE to think about food when I fast. You can be like Peter Pan and really enjoy a DIVINE meal in your imagniation.
I have been told that often when you are craving a food, it is because your body is tapping into stored energy that you obtained from that kind of food. Feel like eating pizza? It's because your body is burning calories that came from a pizza you ate. Craving tuna salad? Because it's tuna salad calories that you are tapping into in your energy reserves.
Just tell yourself that you are really and full enjoying those past meals to their full extent. That part of those meals that you put away for later? Now is the time to enjoy it.
I have occasionally written lists of foods that I wanted while I was fasting, and even invented new recipes and combinations. When I think about it in those kinds of terms, it gets a lot easier. I fast to clean my body out. Not just of fat, but toxins, chemicals, poisons, and genreal excesses that accumulate in my system. That craving you are feeling? That is you kissing all that junk goodbye. Enjoy it!
Soon enough you will break the association your mind has with thinking about a food and wanting to have it in your mouth. It will help you to understand what your body needs from you and how you need to feed yourself. And once it's gone, totally gone, so are the cravings for food you know you don't need.
I wish you the best of luck with your fast and I hope it makes you feel good in the long run and improves your health and wisdom.

30 days! That is a little bit long! WOW i can't relate to that because honestly i can't even go one day. That's sooo much for me. Everyday i don't eat until about 4pm and when i do it just adds that weight to me becausemy body thinks i'm not going to get anymore food. But wow, i don't even know what would happen to me if i fasted 30 days. If i were you, i wouldn't do it. If it's too hard on you, it's going to get much worse. Especially if you're watching TV and you see food comercials. :)

If you're Christian, the Bible tells you that when you fast, don't complain to everyone about your troubled times. Just FYI. :)
"And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. But when you fast, comb your hair and wash your face. Then no one will notice that you are fasting, except your Father, who knows what you do in private. And your Father, who sees everything, will reward you." -- Matthew 6:16-18
Don't listen to me, though, I'm agnostic and I only cause trouble. :)
Maybe you should give details and describe the ways that you are being "attacked"?

What's your point? If you are fasting for religious reasons - you should not be advertising it. It is between you and God. A 30 day fast sounds very extreme....especially since Christ already died for your sins - what are you trying to accomplish?

Expect the enemy to do this. I can relate, every time I make up my mind to get closer to God, I am attacked and seem to fail miserably. I have made up my mind not to let the enemy win though.

Are you anorexic and fasting to lose weight? Is it a "proper" fast with no eating at all and only water, or one that you can eat at certian times?
If it's the first you need to eat... -_-
