What the Bible Says About the Christmas Tree!
But if the Bible is silent about telling us to observe CHRISTMAS, or recording any such observance by the apostles or early true Church, it does have something to say about the Christmas tree!

Jeremiah 10:2-6 "Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen . . . For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a TREE out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not."
There is a perfect description of the Christmas tree, termed by the Eternal as "the way of the heathen — the custom of the people." We are commanded NOT to learn that way or follow it! It is also viewed in this passage as idolatry. The fifth verse shows that these trees cannot speak — cannot walk — must be carried. "Be not afraid of them; for they (the trees) cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good." They are not gods to be feared. Some people misread this to make it say there is no harm in having a Christmas tree, but that is not what it says.

Who says that God does not approve of holidays? Do you have some out-of-context Bible quote to give me?

This is dependant on the individual. For example many people will celebrate a holiday for the simple reason that it gives them a day off work, or the chance to buy gifts and give them out.
Christians are also human and sin against God on many occasions. As humans Christians are under the same pressures and have the same temptations all humans do. If a Christian does knowingly do something that God will not approve of then he/she would need to ask for forgiveness and repent (actually try and prevent the sin from occurring again).
Sometimes for all of us ignorance is easier than the truth and for many Christians this is very true. In God's eyes all have sinned and therefore all are equal, no man means more to God than another. God will judge Christians the same as non-Christians. For all have sinned against God and He will act according to His justice not ours. Perhaps then some/many people who claim to be Christian will be judged unfavourably and will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. However, non-Christians would not have a chance to enter heaven either, as they did not come to the Father through His Son Jesus.

Which copy of the Bible are you basing your question on? The one from the guys in suits that came to your door? That's not the true word of God. It's been altered to fit an agenda. Try buying a copy of the NIV, actually reading it cover to cover instead of highlighting the passages that fit your own agenda, and then attending church services so someone with a deeper understanding of the context can help you understand the meaning of it all. Chances are none of it will say God does not approve of you celebrating a holiday.

Peopl irritate me sooooo! much! I cant believe that they could act so rudely. Its true that Jehovah is disgusted in his people celebrating pagan holidays, yet they are too lazy to open their eyes and see it. Sure it doesnt say 'Do not celebrate christmas, halloween, easter, yada yada yada' But there is counsel. If we believe we should not be celebrating then please dont make fun of us or say were reading some fake Bible. We have the truth and the truth is what all of you need.

We don't worship the Christmas tree. Also where does it say God doesn't approve of holidays? If you cannot support your wild and baseless allegations, maybe you should stop making them.

Christmas was based on a pagan roman holiday.
Halloween came from the Druids.
The Lenten Season was conjured by the Roman Catholics.
Bottomline:
People still want to believe in something that they can see rather that what they cannot see. Yet, their own Christian teachings tell them, "Blessed are you who see and believe, but more blessed are those have not seen me and yet still believed."
I'm a Muslim convert who believes in Allah though I do not see Him.
Peace.

There is no where in the Bible that says dont non't celebrate holidays. That is olny for Jehovash Witness people they beleive that it is taking away from thier time to think of God.

Because christians only scream about OTHER people not following the word of God. They are excused from following anything he says. Look at their hatred and hypocrisy - it is pretty obvious that they seem to think they don't have to follow his word.
