Whether it be catholic,orthodox christians or protestants or baptist or nondenom christians..etc,etc..Why do most have such bad regards towards the other? Towards rituals one christian group may or may not have? In a time when allot of other contries are persecuting christianity, wouldnt now be the time that christians put there minor diferences asside? We all believe in walking in path of Christ our Lord and following the word of God..Shouldnt that be all that matters??

Too many people who claim to be Christians hold onto this idea that because they claim Jesus as Lord and Savior, they have a free ticket to live however they want and don't have to show Christ's love to others--but nothing could be further from the truth. The ones who truly love Jesus will have His love very evident in their lives, but just because someone claims a denomination doesn't mean that they are really seeking to know Jesus. People can warm the pew on Sundays because it's what they've always done, because church is their social club, because they want to look good to others, etc., but if they aren't seeking to become more like Jesus, then they aren't true believers no matter what label they claim. The problem is that they're full of themselves and not full of Christ. They think going to church is about what they want, not what God wants. Nothing could be further from the truth. You hit the nail on the head when you said that all that matters is following Christ. I just hope we get off our spiritual butts and do something about it before it's too late.

Deep in their hearts all Christians know they are all phoneys, they can't pull the wool over other Christians eyes (those in other denominations) by saying "you don't understand because you are not a Christian" so they end up grating on each others nerves in a struggle to be the only ones who pretend to hold the truth.

Because they all believe that they are the only ones who are right. Sure the differences are trivial and some actually do meet together. But there are so many translations of the Bible and various doctrines, that they will never change.

Not all of them do. Jesus loved EVERYONE. Christians hate other Christians because they are human and are sinning. We all make mistakes, but we should be tolerant and loving towards others......that is what makes you a good Christian.
