Microsoft Sound Recorder is part of Windows, so you'll need your Windows CD to install it.

Alternatively, you can download Audacity from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ for the purpose of recording & editing audio.

it incredibly is ineffective, regrettably, except you have an audio recording gadget put in on your computing gadget. I pass over sound recorder for XP, because one element you may do is connect one sound report to a various so it feels like one non-end report.

Go to CONTROL PANEL and then ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS then on the right you will see Install WINDOWS COMPONENTS or something simular... click on that... double click ASSESSORIES and put a check beside SOUND RECORDER..... APPLY at this point it may ask you to put your Windows cd in. It may not. Good Luck :-)
